Summer and sunscreen go hand in hand!
Are you travelling this summer or are you staying at home? Either way – Summer and sunscreen go hand in hand. Rising Tides is a company that has 3 pillars: Travel, Health & Wellness and Inspiring Events. Today’s post talks about health and wellness and travel.
I have tried many sunscreen’s in my time on the water. Remember the coloured Zinc – pink, blue, yellow. We use to put them in stripes across our faces, on our noses and lips. This really dried my skin out and caused it to peel really easily which mean that the raw skin underneath would burn even more easily.
Once when I forgot my sunscreen, I grabbed some from the boat I was sailing on. As soon as I put it on my face, I could feel it burning. I washed it right off but it had already turned my skin red. I don’t have really sensitive skin but it does react to some things. Other sunscreens have given me acne and have not done nice things. However, it is super important since the sun is the #1 contributor to aging and skin cancer is a major concern.
Arbonne’s sunscreen is, without a doubt, the best sunscreen I have ever used. The new Prep Work Sunscreen for the face is a 30 SPF and I have been using it for the past month out on the water and have loved the way it felt as well as the protection it gives. For the body, I recommend the Arbonne ABC Sunscreen. It is also mineral based and water resistant. Great for the whole family! Contact me to find the right sunscreen solution for you.
